2024 R dogfree - My elderly parents' dog is destroying their life. My parents are in their 70s and retired. They decided to adopt a dog a few years ago. I thought it would be a good idea- give them companionship, exercise, entertainment, etc during their retirement. Um, no. Bad idea.

 
They just want what they want. They are incapable of shame, guilt, or remorse. Dog people can range from passive-aggressive to aggressive-aggressive.
